David Ngo currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Backblaze since January 2024. Prior to this role, David spent over 25 years at Commvault, concluding as the global CTO for Metallic, where responsibilities included driving product development, establishing strategic partnerships, and leading technical relationships with major technology partners. David's extensive experience encompasses various leadership positions, such as VP of Metallic Products and Engineering and Head of Product and Engineering for Metallic, where significant contributions to business growth and agile methodologies were made. Earlier roles at Commvault included responsibilities in managed services, cloud products, and software development, culminating in a robust foundation in product architecture and technology integration. David holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
