Chris van Wyk is an accomplished professional in the technology investment banking and venture capital sectors, currently serving as Head of Technology Investment Banking Advisory & Ventures at Bacchus Capital Advisers since July 2021, where responsibilities include supporting clients focused on transformative technologies in strategic industries. Concurrently, Chris is a Venture Partner at Chrysalix Venture Capital, working on the Chrysalix Carbon Neutrality Fund to assist companies in hard-to-abate sectors achieve carbon goals through innovative technologies. Additional roles have included serving as a Non-Executive Director at LifeQ and APATEQ, as well as advising on strategic initiatives for Midlands Mindforge. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Bacchus Capital VC Fund, WETEQ S.A., METALYSIS LIMITED, Green Gas International B.V., and Xchanging plc. Chris holds a B Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pretoria.
