Having a father who was a poet and an editor, she has had a strong interest in language since an early age. Nozomi has a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Art at Nihon University in Tokyo and a Master’s from the College of Communication at Boston University. After working at software companies full time as an in-house translator/editor, she became a freelance translator in 2000.
