Marwan Tannous has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. In their most recent position as Head of IT at Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) since 2015, they successfully implemented VMware ESX and HyperV Virtual environments, as well as VSphere replication and VCenter for ESX combination. Prior to this, they served as the IT Operations Manager at ECA SARL from 2011 to 2015, where their responsibilities included overseeing IT infrastructure and backup systems for more than 70 companies. From 2006 to 2011, Marwan worked as a Systems Administrator at Quantum Communications, where they supported the software network and implemented IT policies and procedures. Marwan started their career as an IT Administrator at the American Lebanese Language Center from 2002 to 2006 and briefly worked as an IT Administrator & webmaster at Careers Middle East in 2005.
Marwan Tannous pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their time at Dekwaneh Technical Institute from 1997 to 2000. During this period, they obtained a BT level degree in Aircraft Maintenance.
Marwan then went on to attend Arab Open University from 2005 to 2009. Here, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology & Computing.
In addition to their formal education, Marwan Tannous also obtained various certifications. These include "Introduction to Web Development" from Shaw Academy, which they obtained in April 2016, "FAST TRACK BUSINESS SUCCESS" from Shaw Academy, obtained in March 2016, "DIGITAL MARKETING" from Shaw Academy, obtained in February 2016, and "Social Media Marketing & Online Reputation Management" from Shaw Academy, obtained in January 2016.
Before their university studies, Marwan Tannous acquired qualifications in technological fields. Marwan obtained the "MCITP" certification from Microsoft in August 2009, the "CCNA" certification from Cisco in April 2007, the "3DSMAX" certification from ALLCS in April 2005, the "CIW Foundations" certification from CIWcertified in April 2004, and the "MCSE" certification from Microsoft in September 2003.
