Nuno Vieira is currently the Sustainability and Digital Transformation Manager at BA GLASS, a role held since September 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing sustainability initiatives, leading the climate change improvement model, and managing quality at the Avintes plant in Portugal. Prior to this, Nuno served as Continuous Improvement Project Manager at SONAE, focusing on lean practices across various business units. Earlier experience includes roles at NANIUM S.A., where Nuno managed R&D product and technology integration, and Qimonda, where process engineering and yield optimization in semiconductor manufacturing were key responsibilities. Nuno's career began at Infineon Technologies as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with a solid foundation in process control and statistical analysis. Nuno Vieira holds a business administration and management course from IMD and a degree from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
