Max Boonen is an experienced financial professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder of PV01, a company focused on integrating bonds with blockchain technology since January 2023. Boonen is also the Founder of B2C2, a digital investment bank that was acquired by the Japanese banking group SBI in 2020. Prior to these ventures, Boonen worked at Goldman Sachs from 2011 to 2015, holding positions as an Associate in Swaps Trading and Analyst in Global Liquidity Products Trading, gaining significant expertise in rates, basis, FX, and cross-currency markets. Earlier experiences include roles as a Summer Analyst at Bain Capital and an Associate Consultant Intern at Bain & Company, as well as an internship at Google. Boonen holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Ingénieur de gestion from Université catholique de Louvain.
