John Chua currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Capital Advisory Group for B Capital Group, a role held since December 2021, focusing on capital needs for portfolio companies involved in equity fundraising, debt financing, and M&A. Prior to this, John was the Managing Director at Jeneration Group, where assistance was provided for SPAC-related strategies and Southeast Asia growth investments. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Fundraising in Corporate Finance at Grab, where John led significant fundraising efforts amounting to approximately US$6 billion. John's career began at Lehman Brothers and continued through Nomura, where John held various positions in Financial Sponsors Coverage and M&A. John Chua holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
