Christina Bivona-Tellez is an accomplished academic and healthcare professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Azusa Pacific University in the Healthcare Administration and Leadership MSN and DNP programs since February 2014. At APU, Christina leads initiatives to foster excellence in teaching and research and develops innovative education programs for aspiring healthcare leaders rooted in Christian ethical values. As a founding member of the Inland Empire Health Information Exchange since February 2010, Christina contributes to enhancing health information sharing across communities. Previous roles include Global Manager at a leading GIS software company and Regional Vice President at the Hospital Association of Southern California, where Christina advocated for healthcare systems in the region. Christina earned a DNP in Executive Leadership from the University of San Francisco and holds multiple public health and nursing degrees from institutions including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Alfred University.
