Luigi Rancan is an accomplished legal and risk management professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Capo area organizzazione e gestione rischio at Aziende Industriali di Lugano (AIL) SA since January 2024, Luigi previously held the position of Chief Legal & Risk Officer at Mikron from November 2007 to December 2023. Prior experience includes serving as House Legal Counsel at Capitalia Service JV from 2003 to 2007 and as an Attorney At Law in a law firm from February 1999 to November 2003. Luigi holds a Master degree in law and an Advanced degree in International Law from Università degli Studi di Milano (1992-1998), a CAS Certificate of Advanced Studies in CSR Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (2019-2020), and is admitted to the Bar in Milan (Italy) since 2005.
