Shaza Zafar is a clinical study manager at Azenta Life Sciences, having progressed through various roles since July 2020, including study manager and senior associate study manager. Prior to this position, Shaza Zafar held the titles of FQC laboratory supervisor and FQC team lead at RUCDR Infinite Biologics from January 2018 to July 2020. Shaza Zafar's earlier experience includes serving as a senior laboratory technician and laboratory technician at Admera Health from June 2015 to July 2017, focusing on NGS tests in cardiology, oncology, and pharmacogenomics, as well as validating molecular diagnostics. Shaza Zafar began the career as an undergraduate researcher at Rutgers University from May 2014 to May 2015, involving studies on drug treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business and Science in Biotechnology & Genomics and a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics, both from Rutgers University.
