Marian Vija has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2001. Marian began their career at Jamieson Laboratories as a Formulation Specialist in 2001. In 2012, they moved to NBTY where they held the roles of Manager Research & Development and Senior Scientist. In 2015, they joined A&Z Pharmaceuticals as Director Research and Development.

Marian Vija achieved a Master's Degree from the University of Bucharest in the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry. Marian also has several certifications, including Efficient Nozzle Atomization from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement, Flavour University from FONA International, Granulation, Tableting and Capsule Technology from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement, Multiparticulates Formulations from Colorcon®, and Root Cause Investigation for CAPA from Weaver Consulting LLC.
