In his deal making career, Amr has led and negotiated more than 60+ M&A deals across the globe and more than 15+ IPO in the Bay Area. Some of the most notable transactions include Facebook acquisition of WhatsApp, Hortonworks IPO, Box.com IPO, Verizon data centersā€™ acquisition and many others. In the last 5 years, Amr negotiated and led 20+ acquisitions across the globe for a total deal value of $15B. Amr leads Global M&A & Strategy Finance at Equinix, a global leader in digital infrastructure

Prior to Equinix, Amr was the head of Corporate Finance at PWC, where he spent more than 15 years advising some of the most sophisticated Fortune 500 companies and pre- IPO startups backed by leading VCs. With PWC, Amr assisted notable VCs in the Silicon Valley with their startup investments

Amr is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in California and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Amr serves as an Advisor to a number of cutting edge startups and a board member at The Single Origin Food Co.
