Cheri Corbett is a seasoned professional in the climate technology and finance sectors, currently serving as Partner & Team Lead of BDC's $500M ClimateTech Venture Fund since May 2015. Cheri has extensive experience in venture capital, previously holding roles such as Director/Managing Director of a fully committed $600M Cleantech Fund and Director of Growth & Transition Capital at Ayrton Energy. In addition to active board memberships at Carbon Upcycling Technologies, Summit Nanotech, and Eavor Technologies, Cheri has contributed to various organizations including Hifi Engineering and CoolIT Systems. Cheri's background includes a significant role at Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance and as Associate Director at InterFinancial Corporate Finance Limited, focusing on strategic financial advice in diverse sectors. Cheri holds multiple degrees including a Masters in Commerce and a Bachelor in Business Management from The University of Queensland, and a recent certificate from Stanford University's Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies program.
