Tony Chacon has a robust background in nephrology nursing, currently serving as the Program Head for the Nephrology Nursing Specialty at the School of Health Sciences at BCIT since 2011. Prior to this role, Tony held key positions at Alberta Health Services, including Patient Care Manager from June 2016 to May 2018 and Nurse Clinician for Chronic Kidney Disease from 2008 to 2011. Tony's experience also encompasses clinical coordination at Humber River Hospital from 2004 to 2008, as well as foundational roles as a Registered Nurse in both clinical nephrology at Alberta Health Services and the inpatient nephrology unit at Providence Health Care. Tony's extensive experience spans home dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis, emphasizing a strong commitment to patient care in nephrology.
