Sharmin Akter, MBBS, is a clinical medical assistant currently working at Aymancare Primary & Urgent Care since December 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a clinical observer at Parkland Health and Baylor Scott & White Health in 2023, as well as participation in the Parkland Academy – Career Observer program. Sharmin Akter has completed several clinical externships at various medical facilities, including Irving Pediatrics and Rapid City Medical Center, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. In addition, a background in education includes serving as a lecturer at Kumudini Women's Medical College and acting as a primary care provider at Marie Stopes Clinic, where responsibilities included patient management and counseling in family planning. Sharmin Akter earned a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College between 2010 and 2015.
