Laura Wheaton, AIA, is a Senior Associate at Ayers Saint Gross, where responsibilities include project management in the Planning Studio, focusing on single and multi-campus plans for institutions in the East Coast and Midwest. Previous experience includes serving as an Architect at brennan + company architects, managing residential projects with an emphasis on energy efficiency and aging in place, and developing social media strategies. As Program Manager at the Neighborhood Design Center, Laura oversaw the Baltimore Community Design Works program and managed various design projects involving numerous volunteers. Earlier roles include serving as a Designer at Sheehan Partners, leading high-rise renovations into data centers, and holding internships at Studio Nigro and Wilkinson Blender Architecture. Laura obtained a Bachelor of Architecture in Honors from Virginia Tech, with additional studies in European architecture.
