Andrea Hernández Chica is a seasoned professional in the LNG sector, currently serving as the Bunker Technical Licence Manager at Axpo Group since October 2024. Prior roles include Senior LNG Operations at Pavilion Energy and Downstream LNG Commercial Operations at Shell from May 2018 to April 2023, where Andrea specialized in small scale LNG and STS bunkering operations. Responsibilities encompassed lobbying for LNG business development in the Spanish market and managing daily balancing operations for Shell's portfolio in Spain. Previous experience includes roles at Enagás as LNG Shipping & Logistics, Union Fenosa Gas as LNG Shipping, and earlier positions in naval architecture and marine engineering. Andrea holds a degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, obtained between 2002 and 2012.
