Jongwon (Leo) Chung is a quantitative researcher and trader at Axonic Capital, engaged in the Axonic Systematic Arbitrage Strategy since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Fixed Income Volatility Trading Associate and Analyst from June 2019 to May 2022, and as a Markets Summer Analyst in summer 2018. Jongwon also completed an internship as a Soft Commodity Trading Intern and Data Analyst Intern at StoneX Group Inc. in summer 2017. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Operations Research from Cornell Tech (August 2022 - May 2023) and dual Bachelor degrees in Economics and Statistics from the University of Chicago (2015 - 2019).
