Liza Valentine is an experienced professional in the insurance and legal sectors, currently serving as Claims Manager at Hudson Insurance Group since December 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Claims Counsel at Sompo International from April 2015 to December 2019, where Liza dealt with complex property and casualty insurance issues. Prior to that, Liza held the position of Senior Analyst at AIG, focusing on complex casualty claims and coverage evaluations from October 2012 to April 2015. Liza began legal career as an Attorney at DeSimone, Aviles, Shorter & Oxamendi, LLP, specializing in civil defense litigation from March 2011 to September 2012, and previously worked at Carlock Copeland in insurance defense. Liza earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing, also cum laude, from the University of Mississippi. Additionally, Liza participated in an exchange program at The University of Queensland in 2002.
