Sam Sabin is an experienced journalist specializing in cybersecurity and technology policy. Currently serving as a Cybersecurity Reporter at Axios since July 2022, Sam covers cybersecurity news and authors the Codebook newsletter. Previously, Sam worked at POLITICO as a Cybersecurity Reporter, where the daily Morning Cybersecurity newsletter was written. At Morning Consult, reporting focused on the intersection of Washington and Silicon Valley, along with contributions to the daily Tech Brief newsletter. Earlier roles included serving as Market Lead and Staff Writer at DC Inno, where coverage of startups and innovation in Washington, D.C. took place. Additionally, Sam completed an internship as a Technology Reporter at CNBC's San Francisco Bureau.
