Jake Sutton is an experienced mechanical design engineer with a focus on advanced space systems. Currently serving as the AxPLSS Mechanical Design Manager at Axiom Space since March 2022, Jake previously held the role of AxPLSS Mechanical Design Lead at the same company. Prior to Axiom, Jake worked at Oceaneering from May 2009 to March 2022, where responsibilities included serving as the xEMU PLSS Vent Loop Design Lead on the JETS contract and contributing to robotics and automation design within the Oceaneering Space Systems division. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, earned in 2009.
