Frank Thomas is an experienced engineer specializing in Environmental Controls and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) for space applications. Currently serving as the Manager of ECLSS Water Systems at Axiom Space since January 2021, Frank provides technical and organizational leadership for a mixed engineering team focused on space station hardware. Prior roles at Axiom include ECLSS Water Systems Group Lead and ECLSS Engineer, where responsibilities ranged from hardware development to team expansion. Frank's experience also includes roles at Boeing as an ECLSS Sustaining Engineer, and earlier positions as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sulzer Turbo Services and a Research Assistant at the University of Houston. Frank holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Houston.
