Georgios Selimis is an accomplished Security Architect at Axelera AI since June 2022, with a strong background in security engineering and research spanning over two decades. Prior to this role, Georgios served as a Senior Security Engineer at Intrinsic ID from January 2016 to May 2022, focusing on innovative security projects for embedded devices, including security architectures for IoT applications. Previous experience includes a position as a Research & Development Engineer at Imec, where Georgios optimized cryptographic algorithms and managed power consumption for low power systems, as well as a researcher role at the University of Patras, designing energy-efficient cryptographic algorithms. Georgios holds a Ph.D. and Dipl.Ing. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
