Maria Frantzela is an accomplished professional in information security with extensive experience at AXA, where roles have included Head of Security Service Management and Security Solutions Manager. In these positions, Maria has acted as the Chief Information Security Officer for the group security operations center, leading efforts toward achieving ISO 27001 certification and managing end-to-end security operations. Prior experience includes working at PwC as a Senior Associate in Information Security and Risk, where team management and security reviews for major clients were key responsibilities. Additional experience at the Information Security Forum involved contributing to the ISF Standard of Good Practice and organizing international conferences. Maria holds a Master's degree in Analysis, Design, and Management of Information Systems from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
