Derek Lao, CFA, currently serves as a Multi Asset Trader at AXA Investment Managers since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Fixed Income Trader at HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd from October 2018 to April 2022, and prior positions as a Senior Dealer at Banco Nacional Ultramarino, S.A. from August 2017 to July 2018, and as an Interest Rate Trader at Cathay United Bank from September 2015 to August 2017. Derek also worked as an Interest Rate Trader and FX Spot Trader at CHANG HWA COMMERCIAL BANK from April 2013 to September 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from National Chengchi University (2005-2009).
