Dr. Meike Herget is the President of AWIS Palo Alto Chapter at Association for Women in Science. Dr. Meike is also the Co-founder & CTO of Avails Medical, Inc, and was part of the Stanford StartX Business accelerator program with the company. Dr. Meike has a background in Sensory Neurobiology and has experience in protein-protein interactions, peptide chemistry, and membrane protein structure and function. Additionally, Dr. Meike has completed internships in Molecular Cloning and recombinant expression.
