Richard Simko is a skilled software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in backend development, technical product management, and team leadership. As a co-founder of AwardFares since February 2018, Richard has developed a search engine for award availability across various frequent flyer programs. Prior to this role, Richard held positions at War On Cancer as a Senior Software Engineer and at Tink, where responsibilities included serving as a Technical Product Specialist and a Technical Account Manager. Richard's earlier career includes leadership and development roles at Refined, Unified Intents AB, and Lunicore Student Consulting, along with entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of Huntify. Richard holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
