Cathy Johnson Kirtley has extensive experience in community service and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Community Volunteer at Avow Hospice, Inc. since March 2016, Kirtley has demonstrated a commitment to volunteering since 2008 with Naples Community Hospital. Previous notable roles include serving as Director on the Board of Directors for Young Marines from March 2014 to May 2015, and as Director of Ethics Operations at SAIC from September 2009 to April 2015, where responsibilities included managing the Ethics and Compliance program and implementing a 3rd party hotline and database for tracking concerns and investigations. Kirtley's earlier experience also includes being a Senior Analyst & Researcher for the US Congress between 2005 and 2008, and serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 to 2006, overseeing air defense and coordinating military operations in response to national security needs. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in National Science and Mathematics from the University of Southern California.
