David Henderson is a Senior Security Consultant at Avocado Consulting, specializing in IT GRC, TRA, and third-party supplier cybersecurity assessments since October 2022. With a career spanning several decades, David notably served as the Assistant Director of Infrastructure for the Department of Attorney General & Justice, managing ICT operational support for New South Wales' court system from 2003 to 2016. Previous roles include Technical Services Manager at Communications Design & Management and IT Manager at Ok Tedi Mining Limited, where David oversaw ICT services in challenging environments. David’s early career involved positions at BHP, including Senior IS Auditor and Technical Consultant, as well as various technical and analytical roles at BHP Steel. David holds a BSc with dual majors in Chemistry and Computing Science from the University of Wollongong and several relevant certifications in project management and technical fields.
