David Buch has a strong background in project management and research coordination. David currently works as a Project Manager for Research Coordination at AVL DiTEST since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AVL Deutschland GmbH, where they held various roles, including Team Leader for Methodology, Automation, and Data Validation from 2019 to 2022, Technical Lead for the same department from 2017 to 2019, and Project Manager for Powertrain Testbeds from 2016 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2010 to 2015.

David Buch attended Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering. David then pursued further education at the same institution from 2010 to 2016, earning a Dr.-Ing. degree from the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Powertrain Systems.
