Andreea Martin is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Avive Solutions Inc. since July 2018, previously holding the title of Electrical Engineer. From January 2017 to June 2018, Andreea conducted research in the Power Electronics Group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on reducing the size of energy buffers for grid-interfacing converters. Prior internships at Fitbit included roles as an Electrical Engineering Intern in 2017 and 2016, where Andreea worked on sensor systems and heart rate monitoring technologies, developing prototypes and analyzing performance. Andreea's early experience also includes an externship at Wolf Greenfield studying patent processes and a research role in optical microscopy at the Laser Biomedical Research Center at MIT. Andreea holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics from MIT, earned in 2018.
