Catherine Preston Ce-CSP is an IT Security Controls Tester at Aviva since July 2023, focusing on testing IT systems to ensure security controls and compliance with auditing standards. Previously self-employed from July 2011 to July 2023, Catherine provided bespoke services in website design, photography, and event organizing, while also running a women's community initiative. Catherine gained experience as a Cyber Security Consultant at CAPSLOCK from December 2022 to March 2023, applying risk analysis methodologies in simulated business environments. Other roles include Assistant Data Manager at the University of York, QA Document Controller and Validation Specialist at GE Healthcare, as well as positions in marketing, content production, and IT support. Catherine holds a Certified Security Professional Ce-CSP certification from Capslock and multiple degrees, including an MSc in Information Management from Leeds Beckett University.
