Carolyn Ansell is an experienced professional with a strong background in risk operations and governance, currently serving as the Head of Risk Operations and Governance for IWR & UKGI at Aviva since May 2007. Carolyn has held various roles at Aviva, including Business Manager to the Chief Risk Officer for UK Life, where the focus was on enhancing the effectiveness of the UKI Risk function. Previous positions include Senior Data Protection Manager, GDPR Product Owner, Project & Strategy Lead, Performance Insight Manager, and Commercial Underwriting Team Manager, highlighting comprehensive expertise in data protection strategy, project management, commercial performance, and underwriting. Prior to Aviva, Carolyn was a Customer Service Team Manager at RAC, managing customer service operations in the automotive sector.
