Gerry De Lauro is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in the personal insurance sector. Currently serving as AVP, Personal Insurance (Segment Lead for Leisure) at Aviva Canada since August 2023, Gerry previously held significant roles at HUB International, including President of Personal Insurance and SVP Group & Affinity, where responsibilities included leading teams and developing strategic marketing initiatives. Gerry’s earlier tenure at Aviva Canada included positions such as Vice President of Marketing & Web Strategy and AVP, Broker Loyalty & Operations, contributing to comprehensive marketing strategies and broker partnerships. Additional experience includes management roles at Virgin Mobile and Rogers Wireless, focusing on customer retention and client strategies. Gerry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Schulich School of Business and additional qualifications in Canadian Insurance Studies and as a Registered Insurance Broker Ontario.
