Dave Moorthy is an experienced clinical psychologist currently working at Baby Memorial Hospital since January 2023. Moorthy also serves as a licensed behavioral health counselor at Avita Community Partners, a position held since May 2021. Previous roles include being a licensed professional counselor at Mindful Psychotherapy Center and Mental Health, where services were provided from 2017 to November 2020 and March 2015 to November 2020, respectively. Moorthy has extensive experience in the criminal justice system as a licensed professional counselor at Phillips State Prison and the Georgia Department of Corrections, where responsibilities involved mental health intake and counseling. Additional experience includes providing counseling for substance abuse disorders at Gainesville Day Reporting Center and serving as a behavior specialist at Georgia Regional Hospital, Atlanta.
