Greg Paulson is a seasoned System Operations Engineer at Avista, with a career spanning over two decades and a strong background in engineering and project management. As the PI System Champion, Greg oversees the operation of the PI System and has held various roles including SCADA Engineer, Engineering Manager for the Electric Meter Shop, and Customer Service Manager. Prior to Avista, Greg served as an Ultrasound Field Engineer at GE Medical Systems and as a DCS Integration Project Manager at Bently Nevada, where responsibilities included managing technical integration projects and ensuring effective system support. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Montana State University-Bozeman, Greg has applied engineering principles across diverse industries including energy, healthcare, and manufacturing.
