Thula Mkhize is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in operational excellence, economic development, and non-profit management. As the Founding CEO of Good Stories (Ziza Izwe NPO) since November 2010, Thula has spearheaded initiatives to reshape perceptions of HIV/AIDS through the Good Stories campaign. In the role of General Manager at AVIS Southern Africa since August 2018, Thula focuses on implementing lean methodologies to enhance business efficiency. Previous experiences include serving as Economic Development Sourcing Manager at Gibela Rail Transport Consortium, Area Manager for the SA AIDS Conference, and various key management roles at AVIS and PepsiCo. Thula holds a B Com degree in Economics and Supply Chain Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and additional certifications in Lean and Continuous Improvement from Cardiff University.
