Doug Hart has a diverse and extensive work experience in engineering and program management. Doug started their career in 1984 as a Design Engineer at SCI Systems, where they designed audio circuitry for a military aircraft intercom system. Doug also verified TEMPEST requirements for the new design. In 1987, they joined The Boeing Company (McDonnell Douglas Aerospace) as a Principal Engineer. During their time there, they developed flight hardware for the International Space Station, designed and tested digital hardware and firmware, and was involved in three Electromagnetic Environment Effects (EEE) test programs. In 1998, they became a Senior Program Manager at Vencore Inc., where they were responsible for contractor support to the U.S. government. Doug held this position until 2016, when they joined Avion Solutions, Inc. as a Principal Engineer.
Doug Hart attended Mississippi College from 1980 to 1981. Doug studied an unspecified field and did not complete a degree. From 1981 to 1984, they attended Mississippi State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Later, from 1991 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Florida Institute of Technology, without specifying a specific field of study.
