Michael Dang has extensive work experience in the field of facilities, engineering, and maintenance. Michael is currently the Director of Facilities & Engineering at Avid Bioservices, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director of Facilities & Maintenance at Grifols from July 2020 to October 2022. From March 2018 to April 2020, Michael was the Associate Director of Engineering at NantKwest. Michael also held the position of Manager of Engineering & Facilities Operations at Agensys, Inc., an Affiliate of Astellas Pharma, from March 2014 to February 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at Gilead Sciences as a Senior Engineer specializing in Validation and Operational Excellence from May 2003 to February 2014. Before that, they served as an Operations Manager/Project Manager at Pharmaplan from November 2001 to May 2003. Michael began their professional journey as a Senior Test Engineer at GEA Process Engineering (Niro) in January 2000, where they worked until October 2001.
