Purnima Gunturu is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Engineering Lead at Aviatrix since September 2021, Purnima oversees edge development efforts. Previous roles include Senior/Lead Software Engineer at Cisco, where work focused on streaming statistics export for Cisco-ACI, and Staff Software Engineer at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, leading the design and development of the broadband controller system state manager. Purnima has also contributed to Alcatel-Lucent on data center overlay technologies, worked as a Senior Technical Lead at Wipro Limited on protocol stack integration, and enhanced CPE products as a Senior Software Engineer at Conexant. Purnima holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) and is currently pursuing a degree in Artificial Intelligence with Python from Harvard Extension School.
