Dr. Alexander Bridges is an independent pharmaceutical consultant who has worked with over 20 pharmaceutical companies on due diligence, manufacturing chemistry and medicinal chemistry. Prior to consulting, Dr. Bridges spent over 40 years as a synthetic and medicinal chemist, including 10 years of postdoctoral work in academia and 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

​He published over 60 papers and filed over 98 patents. He held several executive-level positions at large pharmaceutical companies, including Senior Director of Preclinical Sciences at Quatrx Pharmaceuticals Inc, Oncology Discovery Executive Director at Pfizer, Director of Chemistry Cancer at Pfizer and Director of Diabetes Chemistry at Parke-Davis. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, American Chemical Society, Sigma Xi, American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Association for Cancer Research.
