Shara Shami is a Software Development Manager and Team Leader at Avenza Systems Inc. since February 2020, overseeing a team of six and focusing on code review, mentoring, and feature development using technologies such as Django, Python, and PostgreSQL. Shara has a strong academic background with a PhD in Teleinformatics Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, emphasizing digital image processing and machine learning. Previous roles include Full-stack Developer at LAPISCO IFCE, where Shara conducted research on diabetic retinopathy, and as a Professor at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará, leading mobile app projects.
