Mayank Desai, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Avenue One since September 2024, while also being the Principal at Desai & Co since 2012, focusing on real estate investments and management, as well as providing advisory services for US investment banks, private equity firms, and family offices. Prior to these roles, Mayank held significant positions such as Director of Asset Management/Portfolio Manager at Camber Property Group and Director at Credit Suisse, where Mayank was instrumental in the creation of the Derivatives Resolution and Recovery Plan. Mayank's earlier career includes extensive experience at the FDIC, where important contributions were made in OTC derivatives regulation, portfolio management, and M&A transactions, alongside holding roles at Cantor Fitzgerald, BlackRock, and others. Mayank holds an MBA with honors from The Wharton School and a BBA with distinction from the University of Michigan.
