Elisabeth Cox has extensive experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Elisabeth began their career in 2004 as an Account Manager at Advance Employment. Elisabeth then worked as an Executive Recruiter at Advanced Resources and Smart Resources from 2005 to 2007. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as Human Resources & Recruitment at Wilson Sporting Goods. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Global HR Partner at The Shelby Group, where they built the people function for a global SAAS consulting start-up and received the company's highest employee recognition in 2012. From 2014 to 2019, they were the Director of Talent & Culture at Telecom Brokerage INC., where they created sustainable, diverse candidate pipelines and decreased time to fill from 42 to 28 days while minimizing corporate turnover. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as Head of Talent Acquisition at Help at Home, LLC, where they built the TA function from the ground up, implemented an ATS within 30 days of hire, and standardized recruitment processes and resources for over 150 locations within 90 days. Elisabeth also led employer branding efforts that resulted in recognition by Forbes as the #8 employer for New Grads nationally, #13 employer in Illinois, and #31 employer in Indiana for 2021. Currently, they are the VP, Human Resources at Avaneer Health.
Elisabeth Cox attended Lansing Catholic Central from 1994 to 1999, and then Northwestern University from 1999 to 2004, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy.
