Greg Petersen serves as an Advisory Board Member for the School of Engineering & Technology at the University of Washington Tacoma since October 2023. With extensive experience at Avanade since 2001, Greg holds the position of Sr. Director of IT Security, contributing to the company's mission of becoming the leading digital innovator through the Microsoft ecosystem. Previous roles at Avanade include IT Security Manager and IT Consultant. Prior to Avanade, Greg worked as an Infrastructure Engineer/Webmaster at Point.com from 1999 to 2000. Greg holds a degree in Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional, Cybersecurity from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, completed in 2014.
