Carl Almond possesses extensive experience in information security, currently leading a global security team at Avanade responsible for safeguarding the organization's 50,000 employees and significant client revenue. With a career spanning over two decades, Carl has held various leadership roles, including determining security needs for clients, redesigning workforce resources, and acting as Chief Security Officer for Accenture eDemocracy Services. Previous experience includes engineering and managing network infrastructures for several major companies, such as ThruPoint and IBM Global Services. Carl holds a Master's degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Assurance and Security from American Public University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Capella University.
