Patrick Suenaga has extensive experience in engineering and maintenance roles, currently serving as an Engineering Technician at Avalon Group since December 2024, focusing on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy systems. Prior to this, Patrick held the position of Lecturer at the University of Hawai‘i System beginning in January 2019. As Lead Engineering Technician at Topa Management Company from October 2008 to December 2024, responsibilities included HVAC systems, project management, and energy management systems design. Patrick also served as General Manager and Chief Engineer at Hawaiian Building Maintenance, overseeing maintenance operations for property assets and managing a team. Earlier roles included Chief Mechanic and Technician for Hawaii CIMMS Burger King and Hospital Journeyman Engineer at Anaheim Memorial Hospital, among others. Patrick is a U.S. Navy veteran, having achieved the rank of Chief Machinist Mate Nuclear before retirement. Educational background includes studies at Hawaii Pacific University with a focus on Business Administration.
