Vladlen Podolsky is a Plasma Engineer at Avalanche Energy since April 2022, with extensive experience in aerospace engineering and research. Prior to this role, Vladlen served as a Senior Research and Development Engineer and R&D Project Manager at Momentus, where responsibilities included leading interdisciplinary teams to develop propulsion systems and RF sources. Educationally, Vladlen holds a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California. Additional experience includes internships and roles at Blue Origin, SpaceX, and research assistant positions at various institutions, where Vladlen worked on a variety of projects involving propulsion, structural design, and testing methodologies.
