Robert "Ert" McMullen is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors. Currently employed at Avalanche since July 2021, Robert previously worked at First Mode, where responsibilities included serving as the Structural/Mechanical lead for an ultra-class haul truck fuel cell battery hybrid retrofit project. Prior to that, Robert spent nearly six years at Blue Origin, focusing on building rockets for human spaceflight in various mechanical systems engineer roles. Early career experiences include positions as a Graduate Engineer at Technip and engineering internships at Protedyne and Sil-Pro, LLC. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and has additional educational experiences at Wellesley College and Yunnan University.
