Mark is a lifelong resident of the Fox Valley, growing up in the Freedom area. He went to UW Madison and later finished his degree at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee after taking a few years off to work. Mark’s resume is inspiring, having spent his career enriching lives through respected non-profit organizations. This includes Rawhide Boys Ranch, where he served for 10 years and then went on to be the Executive Director of Life Promotions for 11 years. For the past 15 years, he oversaw Compassion International’s Event Marketing, including Festivals, Conferences, Speakers, as well as College Strategy, with a main purpose of seeing children in the developing world sponsored by attendees at events. During his time at Compassion, over 300K children were sponsored through the areas he supervised. His career radiates impact, and he is a thriving example of servant leadership.

Over the years, Mark developed an interest in investing, which became a full-on passion. It became a natural transition to serve people with their investment and planning needs in the next phase of his career. He values the planning first focus at Avaii. Mark seeks to always serve his clients' best interests and to help them with what they need. He saw these values as a reflection of the culture and purpose of Avaii.

In 2022, Mark celebrates 35 years of marriage to his amazing wife, Carla. They have four children and three grandchildren. Mark and Carla love to hike, bike, walk, play board games, card games, and travel. He’s traveled to Asia, Africa, Europe, throughout the America’s and feels blessed to have been able to vacation in Hawaii.
